Cryptex is a small device originally created by Leonardo Da Vinci and allowed safe transport of a valuable document protected by a security code. To open it, the combination of rotating components labeled with the letters of the alphabet must form a word in correct order. If you open by force, an internal mechanism breaks a tube containing vinegar dissolves inside the message written on papyrus. Obviously modern times require modern tools, like this USB cryptex in theory protected by a USB key with the same system. I say theoretically because it is not just a proof for the concept, but certainly many people would be interested to have one and that rather than to pour vinegar, which has some kind of corrosive acid in case of intrusion!
